Cathedral Windows and More Trunk Show (50 Min.)

The Trunk Show is a collection of approx. forty quilts from the last eight years. Quilts from the books, "Machine Stitched Cathedral  Windows" and "Machine Stitched Cathedral Stars" are included as well as quilts from articles, the Simply Quilts appearance and the patterns. It also includes current works, personal stories and anecdotes from experiences in the world of quilt designing.

Create a small wall piece while learning three-dimensional piecing techniques from the book “Machine Stitched Cathedral Windows”. From cutting to quilting learn this innovative alternative to traditional Cathedral Windows.

Berries Jubilee Table Runner

This fun, easy project features three-dimensional flying geese with rolled edges. You should be quilting your three block, bordered table runner by the time you go home.

Parchment & Black Lacquer Table Runner

This project uses a similar block to Berries Jubilee but uses a Cathedral Window finish. Any fabrics can be used but the Asian black lacquer prints combined with solid black and light gold prints really sets it off.

Machine Stitched Floating Star Block

This adaptation of a Cathedral Window design is one of 12 blocks found in the book “Machine Stitched Cathedral Stars”. Construct this small wall piece while learning the basics of the technique.

 

Spring Blossoms Table Runner

This easy flower design uses only rectangles and squares to construct the blocks that literally bloom at the quilting stage. Choose a pretty print for the border and then pick your flower fabrics from the colors in the print.

Sultry Sunflower: Three-dimensional Sunflower block

The three-dimensional petals of this Sultry Sunflower block simply jump off the block. Learn the basics while constructing a single sunflower block in class. Once you’ve got the idea you can put together nine of your own for a Sultry Sunflower quilt of your own.
